TWith the Google Send to Car service, the driver can prepare a destination for the navigation system ahead of the journey. Addresses found on the Google Maps site can be sent from the PC straight to the vehicle. To do so, the driver chooses the desired destination in Google Maps, then clicks on the “Send” command and selects the “Car” option. In the browser window he must now enter his personal BMW ConnectedDrive user name and confirm that the address details are to be sent to the car. The address can also be transferred by any other authorised person. Once in the car, the driver retrieves the address in the News folder of the ConnectedDrive menu, then simply presses a button to incorporate it into the navigation system ready for route guidance.
